Projections
These small works feature drawings and “tiles” of maps into a form of collage inspired by mosaics. Many of the works feature wrestlers illustrating various wrestling moves, representing the endless struggle between humans, and the impact those conflicts have on the world around us. The map pieces from discarded atlases are cut up and rearranged, representing humanity's desire to structure the world in its own image through conflict.
